Privacy Policy

Go Time Games cares about your personal information and won't share with unless legally obligated.

Effective: 2026-07-09 (supersedes the version effective 2026-05-24)

This Privacy Policy describes how Go Time Games, Inc. ("Go Time Games", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our websites — https://www.gotime.gg and https://www.pbaces.com — or otherwise interact with us as a studio.

This policy is the studio-wide privacy policy. It governs our websites (gotime.gg and pbaces.com) and our general business operations. When we publish product-specific privacy policies (for example, covering game accounts and gameplay data in Pickleball Aces), they apply in addition to this one when you use that product.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Effective" date; if you have an account with one of our products, we will also notify you through the channels you've consented to receive notifications on.

Quick summary

  • We collect information when you visit our websites — site analytics, first-party usage and diagnostic telemetry, and anything you voluntarily provide (e.g., emailing us).

  • We do not sell or share your personal information, so a Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out is always satisfied; on pbaces.com, GPC also disables Google Analytics automatically. Our first-party telemetry (used only for our own product operation, security, and improvement — not used to serve you advertising, and never sold or shared with advertisers) continues regardless of GPC; see Sections 1 and 5.

  • We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • Our products are intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

  • You have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your data. To exercise them, email hello@gotime.gg.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact and inquiry information — when you email us, fill out a contact form, or sign up for studio communications, we collect your email address and the contents of your message.

  • Account registration (pbaces.com) — when you create a Pickleball Aces account on pbaces.com, we collect your email address, a password (or your sign-in provider identity if you use Google or Apple sign-in), your display name, email-verification status, and your acceptance of our terms. We use these to create, secure, and administer your account.

  • Job applications — if you apply for a role with us, we collect application materials you submit.

1.2 Information collected automatically when you visit our websites

  • Device and browser information — IP address, browser type and full user-agent string, operating system, screen size, referring URL, and approximate location (derived from IP).

  • Device envelope (pbaces.com) — on pbaces.com we additionally capture, once per session, technical characteristics of your device and connection: screen resolution and pixel ratio, logical CPU core count, approximate device memory, and network connection type/speed. We use these to understand what hardware our game and site must perform well on and to diagnose problems.

  • Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, navigation paths, and similar engagement signals.

  • First-party usage and diagnostic telemetry — our websites (currently pbaces.com) send usage and diagnostic events (for example: page and feature usage, signup-funnel steps, errors and crashes, and session-integrity signals) to our own backend and data warehouse, hosted on Microsoft Azure. These events are associated with a session identifier and, when you are signed in, with your account identifier. We use this first-party telemetry only for product analytics and funnel measurement, error and crash diagnostics, security and session integrity, and improving our products. We do not sell it, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use it to serve you advertising, or send it to third-party analytics or advertising vendors.

  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5.

1.3 We do not collect

  • Government identifiers (SSN, driver's license, passport)

  • Health or biometric information

  • Precise geolocation (GPS-level)

  • Payment card numbers on our websites (purchases happen inside individual products through the app-store platforms, governed by the relevant product policy)

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support

  • Operate and improve our websites and products (analytics, performance monitoring, security)

  • Send studio-level communications you've opted into (e.g., newsletters or announcements about new products)

  • Comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

3. Legal bases for processing (EU/UK users)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis under data protection law:

PurposeLegal basis

Responding to inquiriesLegitimate interests; performance of a request you initiated

Site analyticsConsent (where required); otherwise legitimate interests

Marketing communicationsConsent (opt-in, withdrawable at any time)

Security, fraud prevention, legal complianceLegitimate interests; legal obligation

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers (sub-processors) — vendors who process data on our behalf under written contracts (hosting, analytics, email delivery). See Section 8.

  • Legal obligations — to comply with law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property.

  • Business transfers — in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will give notice if your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our websites use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Strictly necessary — site functionality, security, load balancing, and remembering privacy choices (pbaces.com stores your analytics opt-out in the pba-ga-optout cookie)

  • Analytics — understanding aggregate usage (e.g., Google Analytics)

You can disable cookies in your browser. Doing so may break some site features.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information — and because we do not sell or share personal information, that opt-out is always in effect for everyone. In addition, on pbaces.com, a GPC signal (or the analytics opt-out control on pbaces.com/privacy) automatically disables Google Analytics on that browser. On gotime.gg you can block Google Analytics with browser settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Our first-party telemetry (described in Section 1.2) is not sold or shared and is not used for advertising; it supports the operation, security, and improvement of our own products and continues regardless of a GPC signal.

6. Children's privacy

Go Time Games products are intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email hello@gotime.gg and we will investigate and delete the information promptly.

When we publish product-specific privacy policies, they will describe how each product enforces this age requirement. Today, Pickleball Aces access is limited to an invited beta, account creation asks users to confirm the 13+ requirement through our Terms, and we delete any account we learn belongs to a child under 13.

7. Your rights

7.1 All users

  • Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you

  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate information

  • Deletion — ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention obligations)

  • Withdraw consent — withdraw marketing consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email

7.2 EU / UK (GDPR & UK GDPR)

In addition to the above:

  • Portability — receive your information in a portable format

  • Restriction — ask us to restrict processing

  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7.3 California (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to:

  • Know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we share it with

  • Delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions

  • Correct inaccurate personal information

  • Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising

  • Limit use of sensitive personal information — the only sensitive personal information we collect is your account log-in credentials (email + password), which we use solely to authenticate your account and never use or disclose for any other purpose. We collect no other categories California defines as sensitive

  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights

We honor the Global Privacy Control as a valid opt-out request for the sale or sharing of personal information; because we do not sell or share personal information, that opt-out is always satisfied. On pbaces.com, GPC additionally disables Google Analytics automatically. Our first-party telemetry (Section 1.2) is not a sale or sharing of personal information and continues regardless of GPC.

7.4 How to exercise your rights

Email hello@gotime.gg with your request. We will verify your identity before responding (usually by confirming via the email address on file) and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days).

You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require proof of the agent's authorization and may verify your identity directly.

8. Service providers

We use the following categories of service providers to operate gotime.gg. Specific vendors may change over time; this list describes the categories.

  • Hosting — Wix Online Platform Limited (gotime.gg is hosted on Wix); Microsoft Azure (pbaces.com and our backend services)

  • Analytics — Google Analytics (Google LLC). Our first-party telemetry is processed on our own Microsoft Azure infrastructure and is not provided to third-party analytics vendors.

  • Email — when you email us, your message is received and stored by our email provider

Each service provider processes data under contract and is restricted to the purposes we authorize.

9. International data transfers

Go Time Games is based in the United States. If you access gotime.gg from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. These jurisdictions may not have data protection laws equivalent to those in your country.

For transfers from the EU, UK, or Switzerland, our service providers' data processing agreements include Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent transfer mechanisms.

10. Data retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law:

  • Site analytics (Google Analytics) — up to 14 months per our Google Analytics retention configuration, then aggregated

  • First-party telemetry — retained while reasonably necessary for the product-analytics, diagnostics, and security purposes described in Section 1.2; we are implementing an automated retention limit of 24 months for raw telemetry events

  • Email inquiries — retained for the duration needed to resolve the inquiry plus a reasonable archive period (typically 24 months)

  • Marketing consents — retained until you withdraw consent, then deleted within 30 days

11. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators in accordance with the law.

12. Links to other sites

gotime.gg links to other websites (including our product sites, social media, and partners). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their privacy policies separately.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Effective" date. For substantive changes affecting your rights, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practical.
